The area of a rectangular plot is 462m and its length is 28m . find the perimeter of the plot ​

Length = 28 m

Area= 462m²

Area =L×B

462=28×B

 \sf \frac{462}{28}  = B = 16.5

Perimeter =2×(L+B)

2×(28+16.5)=89 cm

Solution:-

Firstly,

  • we have to find out the breadth of the rectangular plot.

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

⇛ 462 = 28 × b

⇛ b = 462/28

b = 16.5 m

Hence,

  • the breadth of the plot is 16.5 m.

Then,

  • finding the perimeter of the plot.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

⇛ 2(l + b)

⇛ 2(28 × 16.5)

⇛ 2 × 44.5

89 m

Hence,

  • the perimeter of the plot is 89 m.
