The area of a rectangular prayer hall is 300 sq. m. If the length of the hall (in metres) is one more than twice its its breadth, then find the dimensions of the prayer hall.​

Answer:

area=300 sq.cm

let breadth be = X

so length will be=2x+1;(twice of breadth and one more)

dimensions=2(l+b)

300= 2(2x+1+X)

300=2(3x+1)

300/2=3x+1

150=3x+1

150-1=3x

149=3x

149/3=x
