The area of a rectangular slab is 45 whole 5/16 cm2 if one of its side is 6 whole 1/4 cm. Find the other side.

The answer is 7 whole 1/4. please tell me the answer in full process. ​

area of rectangle= b

area \: given \:  = 45 \times \frac{5}{16}

one \: side \: given \:  = 6 \times \frac{1}{4}

so just put values ( given value can be put as length also or breadth also....

area =  \frac{725}{16}

length =  \frac{25}{4}

sooo...

let's put values

l × b= area

 \frac{25}{4}  \times breadth \:  =  \frac{725}{16}

soo \:  \frac{25}{4} goes \: that \: side \: and \: changes \: to \:  \frac{4}{25}

breadth =  \frac{725}{16}  \times  \frac{4}{25}

breadth =  \frac{29}{4} or </em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong><strong><em>7 \times \frac{1}{4}

soo this is how you get the required solution....
