Let other side be X m.

Area of rectangular table = 43/8 m²

X × 9/4 = 43/8

9X/4 = 43/8

9X = 43×4/8

9X = 43/2

X = 43/2×9

X = 43/18 m.

Hence,

Other side = X = 43/18 m

Let the length of a rectangular table be x

the breadth of a rectangular table be 9 / 4 m

A/q Area of a rectangular table = 43 / 8 m

=> l × b = 43/ 8 m

=> X × 9 / 4 = 43 / 8 m

=> 9X / 4 = 43 / 8 m

=> X = 43 / 8 × 4 / 9 m

=> X 43 /18 m>>>Answer

Therefore the other side = 43 / 18 m
