Let the one of the side be breadth = 6/4 m

Area of the rectangular table top = l * b

 \frac{43}{8}  = l \:  \times  \frac{6}{4}  \\ l \:  =  \frac{6}{4}  \div  \frac{43}{8}  \\  l \:  =  \:  \frac{6}{4}  \times  \frac{8}{43}  \\ l \:  =  \frac{12}{43}
