Given : The area of a rectangular tile needs to be 64 cm²

length and breadth are both whole number values

To find : . In how  many ways can you make such tiles such that the length

of the tile is greater than the breath

Solution:

Area of tile = 64 cm²

Area of tile = length * breadth

length and breadth are both whole number values

64 =  1 * 64

        2  * 32

        4  * 16

        8  * 8

as Length > Breadth

Hence possible combinations are:

( 16 , 4 ) , ( 32 , 2) , ( 64 , 1)

Hence 3 ways rectangular tiles can be made
