Given :-

  • Area of blackboard = 72 cm²

  • Width of blackboard = 8 cm

To Find :-

  • Perimeter of blackboard

Solution :-

Firstly we have to find length of the blackboard

→ Area of blackboard = L × B

→ 72 = L × 8

→ L = 72/8

→ L = 9 cm

Length of the blackboard is 9 cm . Now we can find perimeter of the blackboard.

→ Perimeter of blackboard = 2 ( L + B )

→ Perimeter = 2 ( 9 + 8 )

→ Perimeter = 2 × 17

→ Perimeter = 34 cm

34 cm wooden frame is needed to enclose the black board from all sside.
