Answer:

135cm sq.

Step-by-step explanation:

area of rhombus=area of parallelogram

diagonals are 18cm and 15 cm

area of rhombus=1/2(18)(15)=135cm sq.

area of rhombus=area of parallelogram=135 cm sq.

  • The area of rhombus and parallelogram are equal
  • Length of diagonal of rhombus are 18 cm and 15cm

  • Find the area of the parallelogram?

  \frak{{\bigstar}\large\blue{ \underbrace{ \red{ \underline{ \green{formula \:  need }} : } - }}}

  •  \sf \blue{Area \:  of  \: rhombus =  \frac{1}{2} \times d_{1}   \times d_{2} } \\

  \frak{{\bigstar}\large\blue{ \underbrace{ \red{ \underline{ \green{Solution }}} : }}} -

Given that the diagonal 1 is 18 cm and diagonal 2 is 15 cm

Now using formula we get

 \sf \blue{Area \:  of  \: rhombus =  \frac{1}{2} \times d_{1}   \times d_{2} } \\

Putting values in formals

 \qquad \longmapsto \sf {Area \:  of  \: rhombus =  \frac{1}{2} \times18 \times 15 } \\  \\ \qquad \longmapsto \sf {Area \:  of  \: rhombus =  \frac{1}{ \cancel2} \times \cancel{ 270} } \\  \\  \qquad \longmapsto \sf {Area \:  of  \: rhombus =135 }

Hence the area of rhombus is 135cm²

It's is given that the parallelogram and rhombus are equal

Therefore, area of parallelogram is also 135cm²
