perimeter \:  = 4 \times side \\ 56 = 4 \times side \\ side =  \frac{56}{4} = 14cm \\  area \: of \: rhombus = base \times height \\ 119 = 14 \times h \\ h = 119 \div 14 =  \frac{17}{2}  = 8.5cm

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given perimeter of the rhombus is 56cm

therefore side×4 = 56cm

=> side = 56/4

=> side = 14cm

VERIFICATION:-

perimeter of rhombus = side×4

= 14×4

= 56cm

hence verified

thus the side of the rhombus is 14cm.

now,

we know that, to find the area of a rhombus. there are two methods.

one is 1/2×d1×d2 and the second is b×h

here we have to find the height so we solve it by b×h.

base is the side of the rhombus.

therefore here base will be 14cm

area of the rhombus = 119cm²

therefore b×h = 119cm²

=> 14×h = 119cm²

=> h = 119/14

=> h = 8.5cm

VERIFICATION:-

area of the rhombus = b×h

= 14×8.5

= 119cm²

hence verified

thus the height of the rhombus is 8.5cm.

hope this helps..!
