Given

Area of rhombus is 225m²

One of diagonal is 25cm

To Find

Length of other Diagonal

\sf\huge\bold{\underline{\underline{{Solution}}}}

Step by step explanation

  1. First we write formula of area of rhombus.
  2. then put values which is given in the Question into formula.
  3. The require answer

 \sf\large \boxed{ \bold{{ \red{Area  \: of \:  Rhombus}} =  \dfrac{D_{1} \times D_{2}}{2} }}

\sf \longmapsto225 =  \dfrac{D_{1}\times 25}{2}

\sf \longmapsto \: d1 \times 25 = 450

\sf \longmapsto \: D_{1} = 18

∴Length of other diagonal is 18cm

Check

\sf \longmapsto \: area =  \dfrac{18 \times 25}{2}  =  \dfrac{450}{2}  ={ \red{ 225}}

Extra information=>

  1. Opposite sides and angles are equal.
  2. Diagonals bisects each other at right angle.
  3. Two adjacent angles of rhombus makes 180°
