Answer:

Given:-

⌬ Area of a rhombus = 240 cm².

⌬ One of the diagonals = 16 cm.

To find:-

⌬ Find the other diagonal.

Solution:-

Let length of one diagonal \sf{d_1 = 16 cm}d1=16cm

Length of the other diagonal \sf{d_2}d2

Area of rhombus =\sf{\dfrac{1}{2}d_1.d_2 = 240}=21d1.d2=240

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ \sf{\dfrac{1}{2}16.d_2 = 240}2116.d2=240

⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ \sf{d_2 = 30 cm}d2=30cm

Hence, the length of the second diagonal is 30 cm.

Answer:

Osmosis is the movement of a solvent across a semipermeable membrane toward a higher concentration of solute (lower concentration of solvent). In biological systems, the solvent is typically water, but osmosis can occur in other liquids, supercritical liquids, and even gases.
