Given :-

  • Area of rhombus = 240 cm²
  • Diagonal of the rhombus =  d1 = 16 cm

To Find :-

  • Other side/diagonal of rhombus = d2 = ?

Solution :-

Area of the rhombus :-

\pink{\leadsto}\:\:\sf{240=\dfrac{1}{2} \times d_1 \times d_2}

\pink{\leadsto}\:\:\sf{240=\dfrac{1}{2} \times 16\times d_2}

\pink{\leadsto}\:\:\sf{240=  8\times d_2}

\pink{\leadsto}\:\:\sf{d_2=  \dfrac{240}{8} }

\pink{\leadsto}\:\:\sf{d_2=  30}

∴ Other diagonal of the rhombus = 30 cm
