Given:

The area of rhombus is 42 m², If it's perimeter is 24m.

To find:

Find its altitude.

Solution:

Perimeter of rhombus= 24m.

=) Side of rhombus = 24/4

=) 6m. [base]

Therefore,

Area of rhombus= Base × altitude

=) 42m² = 6m × Altitude

=) Altitude= 42/6

=) Altitude= 7m

Hence,

Altitude is 7m.
