The area of a rhombus is 480 cm². If one of the diagonals is 32 cm, find the other. The area of a trapezium is 1920 cm². If the parallel sides are 30 cm and 50 cm, find the distance between them. The area of trapezium is 640 cm². If its parallel sides are in the ratio 2 : 3 and the perpendicular distance between the two is 16 cm, find length of each parallel side.

Ans:-

1. Area of rhombus = 1/2×d1×d2(where d1 & d2 are diagonal of rhombus)

=> 480 = 1/2×32×d2

=> d2 = 30cm

2. Area of trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel side) × (distance between them)

=> 1920 = 1/2(30+50) × h

=> h = 1920/40

=> h = 48cm

3. Area of trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel side) × (distance between them)

=> 640 = 1/2(2x+3x)×(16)

=> 640 = 1/2×5x×16

=> 5x = 40 × 2

=> x = 16

2x = 2×16 = 32cm

3x = 2×16 = 48cm

here is your answer

hope it will help you
