let ABCD be the rhombus.

GIVEN :

ar( rhombus ABCD ). = 50cm2

AC = 15cm.

REQUIRED TO FIND : length of BD

SOLUTION :

ar ( rhombus ABCD) = AC × BD /2

50 = 15 /2. × BD

100 = 15BD

BD = 100/15

BD = 20/ 3 cm

RESULT :

The length of other diagonal is 20/3 cm
