the area of a rhombus is 56 CM square if the perimeter is 56cm find its altitude .​

solution.

perimeter of rhombus = 4 × altitude

perimeter of rhombus is 56cm .

56= 4× altitude

altitude = 56÷4

= 14 cm.

area of rhombus= base ×altitude

56 cm sq= 14× altitude

altitude = 56 cm sq÷ 14=4cm

Side = 28÷4 =7

Now , Area = 56m2

Let the height be h m. So,

Area = b×h.

56 = 7 × h

h = 56 ÷7
