Solution

Given :-

  • The area of a rhombus is 56 cm² .
  • The perimeter of rhombus is 40 cm.

To Find :-

  • The altitude of rhombus.

Step-by-Step-Explaination :-

As we know that :-

Perimeter of rhombus = 4 × sides

Putting the respective value,

40 = 4 × sides

Sides = 40/4

Sides = 10

Thus,

Length of side is 10 cm.

Now,

As we know that :-

Area of rhombus = base × altitude

Putting the respective value,

56 = 10 × altitude

altitude = 50/10

altitude = 5

Thus,

Altitude of rhombus is 5 cm .

Hence Solved!
