the area of a rhombus is 72 cm square .if an altitude of the rhombus is half of the corresponding base,determine the measure of each side of the rhombus

Concept : Every Rhombus is a parallelogram.

So, Area = base*altitude

Let Base be x hence, altitude = x/2

so, x*x/2 = 72

  x = 12 cm

so, each side of rhombus = 12 cm
