Question :–

The area of a rhombus is 93.5 cm square. If its perimeter is 44cm, then find its altitude.

Given :–

  • Area of rhombus = 93.5 cm²
  • Perimeter = 44 cm

To Find :–

  • Height of rhombus.

Solution :–

First we have to find the sides,

• perimeter = 4 × side

→ 44 = 4 × side

 \sf \frac{ \cancel{44}}{\cancel{4}} = side

→ 11 = side

  • side = 11 cm

• Area of rhombus = base × height

→ 93.5 cm² = 11 × height

 \sf \frac{935}{10} = 11 × height

 \sf \frac{935}{10 \times 11} = height

 \sf \frac{935}{110} = height

 \sf 8.5 = height

Hence,

Height of the rhombus = 8.5 cm
