the area of a rhombus is 96.sq.m if its perimeter is 32,find its altitude.

Heya..

Since Perimeter of a rhombus = 4 * side

=) 32m = 4* s

=) 32m/4 = s

=) 8m = s

Since a rhombus is also a parallelogram.

Hence Area of a rhombus = Base* Height

=) 96 m^2= 8m * h

=) 96/8 = h

=) 12m.
