Correct Question :

The Area of Right Angle Triangle is 24 cm² . Of the Altitude is 3 cm . Find its Base .

Given :

⬤ Area of Triangle is 24 cm² .

⬤ Altitude of Triangle is 3 cm.

To Find :

⬤ Base of Triangle .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area\:of\: Rectangle=\dfrac{1}{2}\times{b}\times{h}}\:]

  • b = base
  • h = Height

Solution :

Let :

  • Base of Triangle be b .

According to the Formula :-

24 = 1/2 × b × h

24 = 1/2 × b × 3

24 × 2 = b × 3

48 = 3b

48/3 = b

16 = b

Therefore , The Base of the Triangle is 16 cm.

Check :

24 = ½ × b × h

24 = ½ × 16 × 3

24 = 8 × 3

24 = 24

Hence Checked
