  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the height of the right-angle triangle.

       Given data:- Area=8cm.

                            Base=1cm.

       To find:- Height=?

        Solution:-

        As we know the area of right angle= \frac{1}{2}\times base\times height.

        So, here we apply this formula to find the height of the right-angle triangle.

        We get,

         \Rightarrow \frac{1}{2}\times base\times height.\\

        Putting the value of base and area in the above formula. we get,

        \Rightarrow A=\frac{1}{2}\times 1\times H\\\Rightarrow 8=\frac{1}{2}\times 1\times H\\\Rightarrow H=2\times 8 \\\Rightarrow H=16cm.

        Hence, the height will be 16cm.
