The area of a right triangle is 225 sq cm. if one of its legs is 45 cm long, find the length of its other leg.

Area of rectangle = l × b

225 = 45 × b

225÷45 = B

5 = B


Therefore other leg is 5 cm.

Area = l x b
So, 225 = 45 x b
b = 225 / 45
b = 45/9
b = 5
