area = 6 cm square

given one side = 4 cm

area = 1/2 * 4cm * x (let other side be x)

6 = 1/2 * 4 * x

12/4 = x

3 cm = x

Now

y square = 4cm * 4cm + 3 cm * 3cm

y square = 16 + 9

y square = 25

y = 5 cm...
