Base = 3 cm

Area of triangle = 6 cm^2

=> Base *Perpendicular /2 = 6

=> 3* Perpendicular = 12

=> Perpendicular = 4 cm

Now,

By Pythagoras theoram

hypotenuse =  \sqrt{ {b}^{2}  +  {h}^{2} }  \\  =  \sqrt{9 + 16}  \\  =  \sqrt{25}  \\  = 5 \: cm
