Answer:

66 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

outer radii  = 5 cm

inner radii = 2 cm

Area of a circle = πr² (π means pi & r means radius)

Area of outer ring = π(5)² = (π × 25) cm²

Area of inner ring  = π(2)² = (π × 4) cm²

Area of the ring = Area of outer ring - Area of inner ring

∴ Area of the ring =   (π × 25) - (π × 4)

⇒Area of the ring =   π (25 - 4)

⇒Area of the ring =   π (21)

⇒Area of the ring =   22/7 × 21

⇒Area of the ring =   22 × 3

⇒Area of the ring =   66 cm²
