Given :
- Area of rhombus = 40cm².
- Length of one diagonal = 10 cm
To find :
- The length of other diagonal.
According to the question,
➞ Area of rhombus = ½ × d₁ × d₂
➞ 40 cm² = ½ × 10 cm × d₂
➞ 40 cm² = 5 cm × d₂
➞ 40 cm² ÷ 5 cm = d₂
➞ 8 cm = d₂
- So,the length of other diagonal is 8 cm.

☞ Area of rhombus = 40cm²
☞ Length of one diagonal = 10cm
☞ Length of other diagonal = ?
☯︎ Ares of rhombus = × Product of diagonals
⇒ Area of rhombus = × d₁ × d₂
⇒ 40cm² = × AC × DB
⇒ 40cm² = × AC × 10cm
⇒ 40cm² × 2 × = AC
⇒ 8cm = AC
⇒ AC = 8cm.
∴ Length of other diagonal is 8cm.
