Let the Length of room be X M

Breadth of room = 87/16 M

Area of room = 264/4 = 66 M²

Length × Breadth = 66

X ×87/16 = 66

X = 66 × 16 ÷ 87

X = 1056/87

X = 12.13 M

Hence,

Length of the room = 12.13 M
