From question, Area of room = 65 ( 1 / 4 ) m²

Given, Breadth = 5 ( 7 / 16 ) m

 \bold{We \:  \:  know, \:  \:  Area \:  \:  of  \:  \: Rectangular \:  \:  room/box = Product  \:  \: of \:  \:  two \:  \:  unequal  \:  \: sides \:  \:  or  \:  \: Length × breadth}

Hence, According to the information given in question,

  = > 65 \frac{1}{4}  {m}^{2}  = 5 \frac{7}{16} \times length  \\  \\  => \frac{261}{4}   =  \frac{87}{16}  \times length  \\  \\  =>  \frac{ \frac{261}{4} }{ \frac{87}{16} }  = length \\  \\   => \frac{261}{4}  \times  \frac{16}{87}  = length \\  \\ \\   =  >  3 \times 4 = length \\  \\  \\  \\  \\  \\  \bold{Hence, Length = 12 m}

Heya !!

Breadth = 5 7/16 = 87/16 m

Let Length of room = X m.

Area of room = 65 1/4 = 261/4 m

Length × Breadth = 261/4

X × 87/16 = 261/4

X = ( 261 × 16 ) / ( 87 × 4 )

X = 3 × 4 = 12 m

Length of room = X = 12 m
