Answer:

Area of Parallelogram = 1500 square cm

As, Length of one parallel side = 50 cm

Also, area of parallelogram = Base × Height

= Length of one parallel side × Perpendicular distance between two parallel sides

1500 = 50 ×  Perpendicular distance between two parallel sides

Perpendicular distance between two parallel sides=\frac{1500}{50}=30

So, Perpendicular distance between two parallel sides=30 cm

Answer:

As,  Area of parallelogram  =   Base * Height

= Length of one parallel side * perpendicular distance between two parallel sides

                  Thus,   1500  =  50 * Height

                   Thus,   Height  =   1500/50

                                         =   30  cm

So,  the distance of this line to the line parallel to this line = 30  cm .
