let the side of square be xcm
therefore,
x^2=144
=>x=√144
=>x=12 cm thus perimeter of a square= 4×side=4×12=48cm

........ a^2 = 144
...... a = 12.......
here we get side (a) = 12 cm..
perimeter of a square = 4a
