2 Let's find the length of one side of a square whose area is equal to the sum of the
areas of two rectangles of areas 2.1214 sq.m. and 2.9411 sq.m.​

Area of square = a^2

Ar. of sq = Ar of 1st rect. + Ar of 2nd rect.

Ar of sq = 2.1214+2.9411= 5.0625

Ar of sq= a^2= 5.0625

a^2= 5.0625

a=√5.0625

a= 2.25
