The area of a square ABCD is 64m square . Find the area of square obtaining by joining the mid points of the sides of square ABCD

ar.of square ABCD.=64m².
AB=8m.
let the square form by the midpoint be PQRS .
therefore.
in∆APQ., AP=4m.and <A=90°
by Pythagoras theorem.
PQ²=AP²+AQ².
PQ²=(4)²+(4)²
PQ²=32.
PQ=√32.
ar.of PQRS
√32×√32=32m²
