The area of a square and a parallelogram is the same. If the side of the square is 60 cm and base of
the parallelogram is 120 cm, find the corresponding height of the parallelogram.

Answer:

area of sq. 60×60 = 3600 cm²

area of sq = area of parallelogram

area of parallelogram = Base × Height

3600 = 120 × height

Height = 3600 / 120

Height = 30

30 is your answer
