Answer:

L = 64 cm    P = 178 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

area of the square = area of the rectangle

40 square = length x breadth

1600 = l x 25

1600/25 = L

64 cm = L

since the perimeter of a rectangle = 2 ( L+B)

= 2 (64+25)

= 2 x 89

= 178 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

area of square which is equal to area of rectangle so,

(40×40)is equal to 1600so,it is also equal to area of rectangle

So,area of rectangle equal to l ×b

1600 equal to l ×25

L equal to 1600/25

L equal to 320/5

L equal to 64cm

Its perimeter will be 2(64+25)

2× 89 is equal to 178

So,the perimeter of rectangle is 178cm

Hope the answer will help you
