Step-by-step explanation:

Area of square = Area of rectangle

Area of square = 40 * 40 = 1600cm²

Area of rectangle = l * b

1600 = l * 25

1600 ÷ 25 = b

64cm = b

Perimeter of rectangle = 2*(l + b)

Perimeter of rectangle = 2*(25+64)

= 2 * 89 = 178

So , Perimeter of rectangle is 178 cm .

Answer:

length of the rectangle=64 m

Step-by-step explanation:

given in question that area of square and rectangle are equal

Area of square= s×s

Side= 40 cm

Area= 40×40= 1600 sq meters

Area of rectangle = 1600 sq meters

Breadth= 25 cm

Area of rectangle = l×b

l×25= 1600 sq meters

l= 1600/25

l= 64 m

Perimeter of the rectangle= 2(l+b)

= 2(64+25)

128+50

= 178 Square m
