Given that Area of a Square = 50^2 = 2500.

Given that breadth of the rectangle = 30cm.

We know that Area of rectangle = l * b.

                                                      = l * 30.

Given that Area of square = Area of rectangle

                     2500 = l * 30

                       l = 83.3.

The length of the rectangle = 83.3.

We know that perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l + b)

                                                                      = 2(83.3 + 30)

                                                                      = 226.6cm.

Hope this helps!

Rohan1208: sorry but your answers doesnt match the options given.
siddhartharao77: What r the options?
Rohan1208: options for length are... a) 80 cm b) 83.3 cm c) 89.2 cm d) 75.5 cm
Rohan1208: option for perimeter : a) 225 cm b) 226.6 cm c) 225.5 cm
Rohan1208: i found your mistake for finding length... the breadth is 30 cm not 25 cm.
siddhartharao77: Yes...Exaclty..Sorry..I will rectify
