the area of a square and rectangle are equal if the side of the square is 16 cm and the length of the rectangle is 32 cm find the breadth of the rectangle also find the perimeter of the rectangle​

area of a square = a x a = 16 x 16 =  256 cm'2

area of a square = area of a rectangle

256 cm'2 = 256 cm'2

256 cm'2 = l x b

256 cm'2 = 32 cm x b

256/32  = b

8 cm = b

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

                                      = 2(32 + 8)

                                       = 2 x 40

                                      = 80 cm
