The area of a square and rectangle are equal. If the side of the square is 15 cm and the length of the rectangle is 45 cm, find the breadth and perimeter of the rectangle

since the side of the square is 15 cm, the area of the rectangle (since it is the same as the square) is 15^2 which is 225 cm^2. so, to find the breadth of the rectangle, take the area divided by the length (i.e. 225 ÷ 45) to get 5 cm. then to find the perimeter, it is the length + breadth multiply by two (i.e. (45 + 5) × 2) to get 100 cm.
