The area of a square and rectangle are equal. If the side of teh square is 40 cm and breadth is 25 cm. Find the length of the rectangle and find perimeter also.​

Answer:

Area of rectangle = Area of square

Area of the square = side²

Area of square = 40 × 40 = 1600cm²

As given : Area of rectangle = Area of square

Length of rectangle = Area/breadth = 1600/25 = 64cm

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b )

= 2( 64 + 25 ) = 2( 89 ) = 178cm.
