The area of a square and rectangle are equal if the side of the Square is 20cm and the breadth of rectangle 10cm.find the length of the rectangle and it's perimeter?

side of square is 20cm

then area is 20 x 20 =400cm square

in rectangle l x b = 400 cm square

l x 10cm =400cm sq

therefore l=400cm sq/10cm

l =40 cm

now find the perimeter by the formula 2(l+b)
