we know that
1 hectare=10000 sq meter
so
0.5hectare =5000sq meter
so we know that
Area = side ^2
5000=side^2
$50 \sqrt{2 } = side$
so by using Pythagoras theorem
side^2 + side^2=diagonal^2
5000+5000=10000sq. meter
$diagonal = \sqrt{10000}$
therefore diagonal =100m
