Step-by-step explanation:

area= 1 hectare. so, length of each side of the square field = root 1 hectare. so, perimeter= 4 × root 1 hectares = 4 root 1 hectares.

GIVEN :-

  • The area of square field = 1 hectare

TO FIND :-

  • the perimeter of the square.

SOLUTION :-

\setlength{\unitlength}{1cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\multiput(0,0)(4,0){2}{\line(0,1){4}}\multiput(0,0)(0,4){2}{\line(1,0){4}}\put(-0.5,-0.5){\bf D}\put(-0.5,4.2){\bf A}\put(4.2,-0.5){\bf C}\put(4.2,4.2){\bf B}\put(1.5,-0.6){}\put(4.4,2){}\end{picture}

As we know that,

➳ 1 hectare = 10000 m².

so,

➳ Area of square = 10000 m²

➳ side × side = 10000

➳ (side)² = 10000

➳ side = √10000

side = 100 m

Now, according to the question we have to find the perimeter of the square . So that the perimeter of a square is given by the Equation,

➠ Perimeter of square = 4 × side

➠ Perimeter of square = 4 × 100

Perimeter of square = 400 m

Hence perimeter of the square is 400 m.
