let the side of the field be x
then
x² = 1 hec
or x² = 10000m²
=> x = 100m

perimeter of the field will be
4x
= 4× 100 m
= 400 m

Heya !!

\text{Area of square = 1 hectare = $10000 m^2$}\\\\\text{But, area of square = $(side)^2$}\\\\\implies (side)^2 = 10000\\\\\implies side = \sqrt{10000} = 100 \: m\\\\\therefore \text{Perimeter of square = $4 \times (side)$}\\\\= 4 \times 100 \\\\= \large \underline{\boxed{\boxed{400 \: \: m}}}

Hope it helps !!
