Step-by-step explanation:

Area of square = side ^2

=> 5184 m^2 = side^2

=> side = 72 m

Perimeter of square = 4 × 72 m = 288 m = Perimeter of rectangle

Let breadth of rectangle be x.

Then length is 2x.

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

=> 288 m = 2 (x + 2x)

=> 3x = 144 m

=> x = 48 m

Therefore, length = 2x = 96 m, breadth = x = 48 m

Area = 96 × 48 m = 4608 m^2

Therefore answer is 4608 m^2
