Let the side of square be (x) m.

area of square = 5184 m^2
 {x}^{2}  = 5184 \\ x =  \sqrt[2]{5184}  \\ x = 72m \\
now according to the question perimeter of square is equal to perimeter of the rectangle. so let the length of rectangle be (l) and breadth be (b).
perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle
4x = 2(l + b) \\ 4 \times 72 = 2(2b + b) \\ b = 48m \\ l = 2b = 2(48) = 96m \\ area \: of \: rectangle = l \times b \\  = 96 \times 48 = 4608m
