Answer:

Area=60025 m square =side^2

Therefore, side of field= 245m

Now, the perimeter or the length of boundary of field= 4*side= 980m

Now, we know that speed=distance/time

But given speed is in km/hr

So, speed in m/s= 18*(1000/3600) =18*(5/18) = 5m/s

Now, speed = distance/ time

So, 5= 980/t

So, time taken= 980/5= 196 seconds

or 3 minutes 16 seconds.

Given :

→ The area of a square field = 60025 m.

→ Speed of Cycle of man = 18km/s

Need To Find :

→ In how much time will he return to the starting point?

Formula Used Here :

  • ➮ Area of Square = (Side) ²
  • ➮ Time = Distance / Speed

Conversion Needed :

  • ↠ Speed of cycle = 18km/s
  • ↠ 18 × 1000 / 60 × 60
  • ↠ Speed of Cycle = 5m/s

According to Question :

  • ➮ (Side)² = 60025m²
  • ➮ Side = √60025m²
  • ➮ Side = 245m

Perimeter of Square :

  • ↠ Perimeter of Square = 4 × side
  • ↠ Perimeter of Square = 4 × 245m
  • ↠ Perimeter of Square = 980m

Calculating Time Taken :

  • ➮ Time = Distance / Speed
  • ➮ Time = 980 / 5m/s
  • Time = 196 sec

Therefore :

  • → In 196 second he will return back to the starting point.
