let lenght of the sides be x

then

x²=625

x=25

total perimeter of the field=4x

=100

time=distance/speed

=100/10

=10 hours

Area of the square field : 625 km²

Side of the square field : √625 km² = 25 km

Perimeter of the square field : 25 km × 4 = 100 km (Required distance)

Speed of the horse : 10 km/hr

Time needed : Distance/Speed = 100 km/ 10 km/hr = 10 hr.

So, the horse will take 10 hr to run around the square field.
