Area of square field is square of its side
Let 'a' be the side of a square
Area =
 {a}^{2}
Given area=4225
a=65
Now the length and breadth are decreased by 2 metres then,
Area=(a-2)(a-2)
=
 {a}^{2}  + 4 - 4a
=4225+4-4(65)
=3969

area of square field=4225
one side of field=65
if it is decreased by 2 then=63
area of square=63×63=3969
=4225-3969=256
256 is the answer
