14A) Area of a square = (side)^2 = 64cm^2 {given}

=> side = 64 = 8 cm {length of one side}

15A) 17 ft

Solving it using Pythagoras theorem, we get

 {hypotenuse}^{2}  =   {15}^{2}  +  {8}^{2}  = 225 + 64 = 289 =  \sqrt{289 }  = 17ft

16A)

 {26}^{2}  =  {10}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  = 676 - 100 =  {b }^{2}

 {b }^{2}  = 576 = >  b =  \sqrt{576 }  = 24in

17A)

 {c}^{2}  =  {7}^{2}  +  {4}^{2}  =  >  53 =  >  {b  }^{2} =  {53}  =  > b =  \sqrt{53} cm

Hope this helps you : )
